Welcome to WoodburyBusiness.org, the Woodbury Business Association’s official web site. This site was created to connect you with local businesses, and local businesses with each other, while providing information on what our Association is about and what is going on in our community.
The WBA was established in 1988 in an effort to provide support to small and large businesses located in or doing business in Woodbury. Our town, while successfully maintaining its colonial look, has a larger number of small businesses and services operated from members’ homes. The Association meetings give these businesses the opportunity to network; to offer and learn of available local services.
Dinner meetings are held on the third Wednesday of each month from September through June. Occasionally, we hold events at other times and joint meetings with our sister organization, the Southbury Business Association.
There are members who, besides growing their businesses, have a sincere interest in giving back to the community. The WBA provides an opportunity to participate with fundraising programs such as our Holiday Party, and the annual presentation at our James J. Clark, Jr. Community Service Award meeting. We also participate in the Spring and Fall Woodbury Clean-up Days where we are responsible for maintaining the image of Main Street.
