Duncan Stephens

Duncan Stephens is the author of three books on home remodeling: “Home Remodeling Pitfalls and How to Avoid Them” published in 1993 with a second edition published in 2003; and “The Unofficial Guide to Hiring Contractors” published in 1999.

He is a graduate of Harvard with practice matriculations at Princeton, Columbia, Colorado College, and some post-graduate work at Johnson State College in Vermont.

He’s a graduate of the Naval OCS program in New Port and has worked in advertising sales, management and sales training, and published a weekly newspaper in Vermont for 12 years.

He had his own advertising and PR agency, STAFF Associates, in Connecticut for 17 years.

He is the past president of the Naugatuck Rotary Club and the Woodbury Business Association. He also sings bass with the Valley Chordsmen, a barbershop chorus.
