Sharon K. Simmons

Having lived in Woodury for 42 years and raised four children here, Sharon opened her home as a Bed & Breakfast seven years ago. She invites her guests to relax on the all-season porch overlooking perennial gardens, or sitting by the fireplace in the living room.

Prior to opening Hummingbird Hill B&B, she was assistant editor and advertising manager for Aviation Digest magazine for 20 years. She is licensed to fly land and seaplanes.

In addition to being a member of the Woodbury Business Association for nine years, Mrs. Simmons is also a member of the Professional Association of Innkeepers, The Litchfield Hills Bed & Breakfast Association, The Woman’s Club of Woodbury, Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association, The Seaplane Association and The Ninety Nines, a woman’s pilots organization.
